An enlightening book that will be loved for a long time as a “textbook of tea bowls” and “illustrated book of tea bowls The long-awaited second volume of the “Tea Bowls” series (5 volumes), which can always be easily pulled out from the bookshelf This series introduces about 100 tea bowls of the tea ceremony, divided into “Karamono,” “Korai,” “Wamono,” and “Raku. Three to four pages are devoted to each bowl, and photographs of the front and the pedestal as well as the prospect, etc., which are rarely published, are also included. The bowls are introduced with clear explanations (characteristics of the bowls, relationship with the tea ceremony, etc.) and detailed information such as dimensions, description of the box, accessories, and history, etc. Based on the latest research results, the charm of the bowls that should be handed down to the next generation is fully introduced. The second distribution is the fifth volume, “Raku Tea Bowls. This volume introduces 120 bowls, including works by successive generations of the Raku family (Chojiro, Tsuneyoshi, Doyuri, Iri, Soyuri, Zoyuri, Nagayuri, Tokuyuri, Ryoiri, Danyuri, Keiyuri, Koyuri, Seiri, Kakuiri, Naoyuri, and Gichizaemon), Tanaka Sokei, Hon'ami Koetsu, Tamamizu ware (first generation), Ohi ware (first generation, etc.). The contents of this exhibition show the essence of Raku ware. Edited by Raku Naoiru, the 15th generation of the Raku family.
