Gerhard Richter, Strip Paintings and 8 Glass Panels

This catalog is from a solo exhibition held under the direction of the artist to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the gallery, and includes his latest work “Strip,” a complex digital manipulation of his 1990 oil painting, “8 Glass Panels,” a three-dimensional work made of eight pieces of glass, “MV,” a series of enamel paintings on top of photographs, and other works from the gallery's exhibition. The exhibition also features the process of creating the “Strip” series. Also included is an explanation of the production process of the “Strip” series and an essay by Jumi Hayashi (independent curator), both in English and Japanese. Comes in a sleeve case.
