Shunsuke Takao, “Generativemasks

Generativemasks is a generative art NFT project started by creative coder Shunsuke Takao in August 2021. As an extension of the “Daily Coding” activity, in which people casually perform visual coding on a daily basis, the project became a big hit, selling out 10,000 units in a little over two hours after its launch. The proceeds from those sales were donated to organizations and companies related to generative art, and a general incorporated foundation for the promotion of generative art was also established to use the funds for activities to popularize generative art.
