Minori Murata "PINK FLASH"

What is a sustainable and abundant life?" This is a work by Minori Murata at her solo exhibition "FRUITFUL LIFE", a combination of interactive art and visual art that asks the question, "What is a sustainable and rich life?

The work is made of wood panels printed with UV ink and lenticular ants. In the work "PINK FLASH", the ant part changes to red-purple and blue.

About Lenticular printing Lenticular printing is a printing method that uses a sheet-shaped lenticular lens to create a three-dimensional effect, with the pattern changing depending on the angle of view. Generally, Lenticular printing uses ready-made lens sheets and can only change in one direction. SunM color uses transparent ink to create the lenses, which can be mixed and matched in any direction and with or without change. This technique has been used only for acrylic and paper surfaces, but now we have succeeded in creating Lenticular lenses on wood as well.

Year of creation: 2024 Technique: UV print (Kasanegrafica) and partial lenticular Print medium: wood panel Size: 1414 mm (length), 1000 mm (width), 25 mm (back) (with square wood frame geta) https://art.parco.jp/museumtokyo/detail/?id=1429
