Even for projects with a limited print run, such as artbooks or photo collections, clients want to maintain uncompromising quality in their creations. Digital printing with the Jet Press 750S sheet-fed digital inkjet press allows us to meet such needs. Well-defined rendering and vivid color over a wide color gamut set this press apart from previous on-demand printing. We also offer sophisticated image processing technology— customizing printer settings and color management so "SunM Color colors", perfected in art printing, can be reproduced in digital printing.
As digital production has gained prominence in recent years, there has been a growing need to print RGB tones. Despite the name, RGB printing involves separation into CMYK printing colors, or into the color breakdown for an output device, such as an inkjet printer. We apply our own fine tuning to the Jet Press to achieve the high-density printing that is SunM Color's specialty. At SunM Color, we have achieved reproduction of a wide color gamut through tuning of the press and design of its ICC profile (a file describing device and color setting attributes used for color management). This enables nuanced adjustment of density and hue, particularly of dark areas, and separate rendering of tone for colors whose chroma is easily saturated when converted.

The Versafire EV is a digital printer capable of 5-color printing, where a special color is added to CMYK to expand expressive options and spark new design ideas. The fifth color can be selected from: white, gold, silver, neon yellow, neon pink, invisible red, or clear (varnish). This enables high-value printing with an added creative flair, such as applying a white undercoating when printing on deep-colored paper or incorporating metallic effects with gold or silver.
